Benefits of Exercise

The psychological benefits of exercise include improved sleep quality, reduced insomnia, reduced depression, and reduced pain management. In addition, exercise also provides social and environmental benefits that will have an impact on reducing stress levels.
Fitness Exercises in Medan by Cita Sehat
Medan, Sunday, July 21, 2024 – The Cita Sehat Foundation (CSF) Medan Branch Volunteer Team successfully held a group exercise event with the community at the Adam Malik Housing Complex, Medan. This event is part of Cita Sehat Foundation‘s efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle among the community, particularly in order to raise awareness of the importance of physical activity.
The exercise activity was themed “Fitness Exercise” and featured professional exercise instructor Mery Hartati. The exercise event was attended by the entire community around the Adam Malik Housing Complex in Medan, consisting of people of all ages.

The exercise session took place from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. It began with registration at the booth, followed by the opening ceremony and the main activity, which was exercise led by coach Mery Hartati. After the exercise session, participants were given a 1-liter bottle of oil to add to the excitement of the event.
This exercise event aims to educate the community about the importance of maintaining physical health through regular physical activity. Cita Sehat Foundation, as the organizer, hopes that events like this can motivate the community to be more active in exercising and maintaining their health in a sustainable manner. Additionally, this event also serves as an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship among residents of the Adam Malik Housing Complex. By gathering and exercising together, residents have the chance to get to know each other better, fostering a more united and harmonious community.


The fitness exercises organized by the Cita Sehat Foundation in the Adam Malik Housing Complex in Medan successfully attracted many residents and ran smoothly. It is hoped that similar activities can be held regularly to continue promoting a healthy lifestyle and strengthening a sense of community among residents. In this way, public health can be maintained and the bond between residents can be strengthened.
