Mojokerto, November 3 – As part of its efforts to promote public health, the East Java Regional Telkomsel Taqwa Council (MTT) held a free health service social service event. This health service event was held in collaboration with the Cita Sehat Surabaya Clinic and took place at the Lengkong Village Hall in Mojoanyar District, Mojokerto Regency.
The event was officially opened by a representative of the Lengkong village administration, Mr. Ridwan. In his speech, Mr. Ridwan said that this community service activity was a manifestation of the concern of the East Java Regional Telkomsel Taqwa Council (MTT) for the health of the people of Lengkong Village, including children, adults, the elderly, and pregnant women. Noting the enthusiasm of the residents of Lengkong Village, Mr. Ridwan also hoped that activities such as this could be held regularly so that more people could receive free health services.

During today’s health service activity, health services were provided to 104 residents of Lengkong Village, which included health services for general patients, blood pressure, blood sugar, uric acid, and cholesterol checks, as well as ultrasound examinations for pregnant women.

Health Awareness Education
This activity also included a health seminar on “Non-Communicable Diseases” presented by Dr. Feni Wayuningsih. In this seminar, Dr. Feni discussed ways to prevent non-communicable diseases, one of which is through the CERDIK approach, which consists of several steps, as follows:
C (Check – Routine health check-ups at least once a year),
E (Eradicate cigarette smoke),
R (Regular physical activity for at least 30 minutes a day),
D (Diet – A balanced diet with increased consumption of vegetables and fruits and reduced consumption of foods high in sugar and fat),
I (Sufficient rest, at least 7-8 hours a day), and
K (Manage stress effectively).

By implementing these CERDIK steps, it is hoped that the community can become healthier and avoid non-communicable diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, kidney failure, and coronary heart disease.
“Alhamdulillah, I am very happy to be able to have a free check-up here. I can check my blood sugar, uric acid, and cholesterol for free here. Hopefully, I will be healthier after receiving treatment and consulting with the doctor. The event was great, and hopefully, it can be held again.“
