Reproductive Health Education for Teenagers
Care For Teens provides participants with information on the importance of teenage reproductive health, understanding puberty, and what to do during puberty.
Teens’ reproductive health is a state of physical, mental, and social well-being related to reproductive functions, systems, and processes. It’s important for teens to know about reproductive health so they have the right understanding of it, minimize the risk of sexually transmitted diseases during their teens, and help them understand the consequences of their actions, which encourages responsible behavior.
The material also provides information related to puberty in teenage girls, which is characterized by 1) breast growth, 2) the onset of menstruation, 3) hair growth, and 4) changes in the skin and face. It also covers teenage boys, which is characterized by 1) voice changes, 2) wet dreams, and 3) hair growth.
The speaker also emphasized the importance of maintaining reproductive organ hygiene, living a healthy lifestyle such as taking iron supplements for teenage girls, managing emotions, and avoiding risky behaviors such as dating.

By maintaining good hygiene, a healthy lifestyle, managing emotions, and maintaining good relationships, young people can navigate this phase with greater confidence and readiness for adulthood.
“As teachers, we are currently concerned about the social conditions of children and the enormous influence of gadgets on them. We are grateful to Cita Sehat, which has provided this subject, because subjects related to puberty have been removed since the curriculum change.”
